These say that if you’re following dietary recommendations for dairy products, you’ll get enough Vitamin D without risking sun exposure.

Myth #5: A Base Tan Will Protect You From Skin Damage Whether your skin is naturally darky pigmented or has a slight tan, you still need to protect yourself from sun exposure. There’s really no such thing as a healthy tan, and any time you’re getting a tan, you’re damaging your skin and increasing your chances of developing melanoma.
